Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.

On October 13, 2020, Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc. filed a Current Report on Form 8-K (the “Initial 8-K”) disclosing that Ms. Emma S. Battle was elected on October 7, 2020 to serve on the Company’s Board of Directors, at which time no committee assignment had been determined for Ms. Battle. The Initial 8-K is hereby amended to include the following information on Ms. Battle’s committee assignment:
On March 9, 2021, effective immediately, Ms. Battle was appointed to the Audit Committee, the Board having previously determined that Ms. Battle satisfies all applicable requirements to serve on such Committee.
